Huxley’s Homestead offers hatching eggs per dozen or half dozen.

Shipping:

– We are NPIP Certified and are shipping nationwide.

– Please include your preferred ship/pickup date in the notes section of your order. If you leave the notes section blank, your eggs will be shipped out once the order is available and filled. 

– Egg orders ship out Monday-Wednesdays. If we are not able to ship out your order for the date you desired we will reach out to schedule the next available option. Once shipped, the eggs typically arrive in 1-3 business days.

– Our eggs are packaged with the utmost care and are the same eggs we personally use to hatch our chicks with a 90%+ hatch rate. Please remember that 50% development rate from shipped eggs is widely accepted as the standard, but you may see more or less. The reality is once your package leaves our farm, the United States Postal Service is in control of your eggs.  In the past, our customers have had excellent service and hatch rates, but there is never a guarantee.  We place our trust in the hands of every USPS worker across the United States.  Therefore, Huxley’s Homestead cannot be held responsible for the care of your eggs during shipping or hatch rates.

– Incubation care recommendations are included!

Pick-Up:

– We are always available for pickup at the homestead and will also meet within 30 minutes of Pineville, KY for those customers who are further out. We are happily flexible for longer distances, but there will be a $60 minimum.
